The Toledo bridge

The Toledo Bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the Manzanares River 180 meters long and 9.5 meters wide. In the Churrigueresque baroque style, it was built between 1719 and 1724, the work of architect Pedro de Ribera. It consists of nine semicircular eyes with granite ashlars. The semicircles along the pavement and the two temple-shaped bodies on the sides of the central arch are characteristic. From the top of the bridge you can see Madrid Río.
